Definition: Influencing can be defined as
The ability to assess own ideas and persuade others, gaining support and commitment from others.
The ability to mobilize people to take action, using creative approaches to motivate them to meet the larger goals.
The ability to persuade and encourage others to adapt to changes and suggestions.
The ability to be a thought leader in the industry/economy/environment to influence key decisions and trends.
