Ever heard the quote “A smart person learns from their mistakes, a wise one learns from the mistakes of others.” We can learn a lot from observing people around us (successes or failures) and experimenting with what works for us.

In this fascinating topic about cognitive biases, we take you through some of the systematic errors we tend to make when forming opinions, making choices, and taking decisions. We will attempt to learn from our own and others’ mistakes. At the end of the course, we hope you will practice observing/introspecting and recognize these errors to take better calls than before.

Bear in mind though that these errors also serve us to simplify processing information and making quick decisions. I doubt we would get anything done in a world where we weigh out the pros and cons of every choice. With that said let’s begin.
